Bio-fogging is a disinfecting technique that creates a dry or wet mist which kills germs and pathogens that cannot be reached by conventional cleaning. It is a quick and effective way to disinfect large surface areas quickly, including walls, ceilings, furnishing, carpets and floors.

Our team have been instrumental in the fight against Covid-19 and have been Bio Fogging void properties, offices, extra care schemes , under one roof schemes and vehicles throughout Bolton.

We currently provide Bio-Fogging within the Bolton at Home Group and hope to offer the service more widely from 2021.

Our trained staff carry out statutory building inspections on 56 properties including community buildings, offices and residential blocks. The type of inspection can vary from building to building, but our staff ensure that the purpose and frequency of the checks remains the same.

  • Lift REM Testing

They provide services ranging from minor repairs, to arranging removals and manual handling of office & home furniture to and from relocation site.

Caretakers and Mobile Caretakers

We provide a caretaking service in extra care units and under one roof schemes throughout Bolton. Our caretakers carry out internal and external maintenance to ensure that communal areas are clean, safe, easily accessible and fit for residents to enjoy. All caretakers are fully trained in all aspects of health and safety including Coshh, Legionella, Sharps and infection control.

Caretakers also provide extra help by doing small practical jobs to make the lives of the residents easier and safer around the home, helping them to live independently and avoid slips, trips and falls.

These jobs include:

  • Small jobs – curtain poles, shelves, moving white goods
  • Safety measures – fitting smoke alarms, grab rails, light bulb replacement
  • Furniture assembly

Voids Clean and Clear

Voids Clean and Clear        

Our Voids clean and clear team support Bolton at Home by restoring properties back to a clean and presentable condition at the end of a tenancy. Our team work quickly to turn around properties to reduce waiting times and ensure a clean and presentable living environment for tenants.

Void staff are fully trained in all aspects of health and safety including Coshh, risk management, sharps and asbestos awareness. As registered waste carriers we ensure that all hazardous and non-hazardous waste is disposed of in accordance with environmental legislation and regulations. We work alongside local charities to ensure that we recycle and reuse whenever possible to benefit the community and the environment.

Our service includes:

  • Initial and final property cleans
  • Full house clearances
  • Garden clearances
  • Removal and disposal of domestic appliances small or large
  • Graffiti removal
  • Roof space clear outs
  • Sharps — needle sweeps and removals.

Following the Prime Ministers statement on the 9th May SWY have been reviewing the guidance in order to implement a COVID Secure Strategy and Action Plan to help us deliver accessible services whilst protecting the safety of colleagues, customers and the public.
